Last weekend, Scott and I had the pleasure of photographing Emma and Brendan’s Telfair Academy wedding here in downtown Savannah. We love having the opportunity to work in such interesting wedding venues that showcase the uniqueness of the Savannah area.
Preparations for the bride took place at the Mirebelle Suites across from the Cathedral while her groom prepared for the wedding at the Cotton Sail in downtown Savannah. The ladies of Rob’s on Drayton did a spectacular job of creating wedding day looks for Emma and her girls. Emma’s parents could barely hold back the tears as she revealed her wedding dress to them, a stunning Amsale gown paired with a beautiful custom length veil.
Emma and Brendan’s Savannah wedding ceremony took place at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in the historic district of Savannah. After the ceremony, guests were ushered via trolley to cocktails in Telfair Square followed by their reception in the Telfair Academy Art Museum. Guests spent the rest of the evening dancing to the sounds of the After Party Band, dinner provided by Cape Creations, and snacks from Delta Airlines, an homage to our couple first meeting in an airport.
At the end of a spectacular evening, Emma and Brendan exited their wedding reception through an aisle of sparklers into an awaiting classic car. Thank you Emma and Brendan for allowing us to document your amazing wedding! Here is a sneak peek of their Telfair Academy wedding.
