Madeline and Joe’s Rose Hill Mansion wedding was recently a featured wedding on Destination I Do’s fabulous blog. Working with Embellished Events, this West Virginia couple pulled off the perfect destination wedding here in South Carolina. Madeline and Joe’s wedding embraced the beauty of the Lowcountry and their passion for the coast.Dressed in a stunning lace gown by UK designer Sassi Holiford fitting for this historic venue, Madeline married Joe on the front steps of the historic Rose Hill Mansion, a Southern plantation style home from the Civil War period.
The reception took place on property under a clear top tent that was among a canopy of illuminated moss draped oaks. Color popped from the ceiling and tabletop floral designs, created by A Floral Affair, in shades of coral and teal with gold embellishments sprinkled throughout. From the tent draping and custom painted chandeliers to the mix of table linens and styles, their wedding was full of carefully thought out and well planned details that represented the couple’s unique style. Even the ruffled, three tiered, teal cake that Madeline and Joe had created by Savannah Custom Cakes had pops of coral that complemented the room decor. JLK Events provided the lighting and music that created an atmosphere that kept the guests entertained throughout the evening. The couple ended the evening leaving through a spectacular sparkler exit and into a vintage car on the way to their honeymoon.
