We loved having the opportunity to document Kayt and Bryan’s Magnolia Plantation wedding in Charleston, South Carolina last weekend. You might remember Kayt and Brian from their engagement session in downtown Savannah.
Kayt and Bryan were married in the Summerall chapel on the campus of the military college of South Carolina, the Citadel, which is also our groom’s alma mater. It was a wonderful experience to see our couple’s great friends all work together to set up an incredible wedding reception for our bride, groom, and their family and friends. Once guests arrived at the Magnolia Plantation, guests were treated to mimosas and a tasty brunch before spending the reception enjoying the picture perfect weather and the sprawling plantation gardens at the venue. It was an emotional and exciting day for all in attendance there was not a dry eye in the house during Kayt’s dance with her father and Bryan’s dance with his mother followed by laughter and tears during the speeches from members of their wedding party. At the end of the reception, we had the chance to take our couple around the plantation to create some wonderful portraits using some of the unique elements of the gardens.
