We are so excited to share some of Megan and Sonny’s Keswick Vineyards wedding photos that were featured in the latest issue of WeddingWire’s SummerBook. Megan and Sonny’s wedding celebrations actually took place over four days, at four different vineyards, with two ceremonies and receptions (or as Megan states 4 days + 4 vineyards + 2 weddings + 2 cultures combined = 1 amazingly happy couple). We were incredibly honored when we were approached by them to photograph their wedding weekend, especially since our groom is the CMO of WeddingWire and that he had thousands of photographers to choose from.
Melissa started the day with Megan and her bridesmaids as they were pampered by TDR Artisty and Daniela Shuffler, who both did an amazing job on all of the hair and makeup for the weekend. Megan wore a stunning custom red, aqua and gold bridal lengha she purchased during a trip to India with the groom and his mother. After putting on the final touches to her wedding outfit with the addition of her amazing wedding jewelry, Megan and her bridesmaids (wearing saris from Borrow It Bindaas) were set to make their way to the vineyard venue for the start of the ceremony.
Scott had the opportunity to spend the morning with the gentleman as they prepared for the big day. Sonny rocked an awesome gold and blue sherwani while the groomsman wore matching kurtas. Entering the baraat on a white horse, Sonny, his groomsman along with all of the guests danced their way up to the long driveway to the ceremony mandap, which overlooked the vineyards on the property. Working Brides and Partyland Flowers and Event Decor did an amazing job creating the design for the ceremony and reception spaces. The bold colors of the floral detail and the draping added that extra pop to stand out against the green backdrop of the grape vines.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Sperry Tent on the property that featured centerpieces full of hydrangeas and roses, a stunningly draped seating area of our bride and groom adorned with unique lanterns and bold linens. Two of the standout moments from the evening that everyone in attendance enjoyed were the choreographed dances that were performed by Sonny’s younger sister sister as well as a team dance from members of Sonny’s WeddingWire crew. After these performances, guests were treated to a night of amazing cuisine from Indaroma Wedding Catering and dancing with from Boston Light and Sound, who kept the dance floor packed all night until the last song was played.
We can’t wait to share more next week with with part two of Megan and Sonny’s wedding weekend in Charlottesville.
