We had a spectacular time photographing Karen and Mike’s Grande Dunes Ocean Club wedding in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was such a joy to document their wedding and all of the family and friends who joined them that weekend in celebrating such a special day.
Preparations for the bride took place in the upper level of the new renovated Grande Dunes Ocean Club in Myrtle Beach. Ami Creations did a spectacular job of creating wedding day looks for Karen and her ladies. Karen opted for a gold, lace, floor length gown that looked stunning on her and looked amazing against the interiors of the clubhouse.

Karen and Mike’s wedding ceremony took place overlooking the ocean in the Ocean Club followed by cocktails on the veranda. The decor the event featured photos, keepsakes and travel elements that highlighted their travels together as Karen and Mike first met and worked together in the air as they both worked for American Airlines. Guests spent the rest of the evening dancing to the sounds of the GlobalTruth Entertainment and snacking on wedding cake, several varieties of pasteries and a spectacular croquembouche.
At the end of a spectacular evening, Karen and Mike exited their wedding reception through an aisle of sparklers onto an awaiting vintage car.
